Great Falls Park, Virginia

Despite being a mild winter, in terms of snow fall, the weather has been cold enough to keep us mostly indoors. So when we had a very mild and sunny day in late February we decided to visit nearby Great Falls Park. I grew up near this park and have many memories of visits to the falls. The kids had a great time exploring the trails and looking at the falls. They especially liked watching the kayakers taking on the rapids. We can't wait to go back when it gets warmer.
