Father's Day 2012

We started out Father's Day at the pool for our next round of swim lessons. We thought it would be fun to take summer lessons outside. We also thought it would be warmer in June. It wasn't too cold standing in the sunshine, but boy was it cold in the water. Elliot got used to it pretty quickly and enjoyed his session.  Beatrice was not as thrilled with the cold water and ended her class a little early.

After lunch and naps we gave Daddy his presents. The kids and Daddy's favorite was a shirt that Elliot and I made. The cool thing about the shirt is that it has roads on the back that the kids can drive their toy cars on. Daddy liked his car massage and the kids love the time being silly with Daddy.

Daddy's Work Picnic

This was the first year that we made it to Daddy's company picnic. The kids were on cloud nine. There were pony rides, moon bounces, a petting zoo, miniature golf and face painting. Due to Beatrice's much needed afternoon nap we didn't get there until about an hour and a half before it ended. Our late arrival actually worked out well as the kids didn't have to wait in any lines and pretty much had free reign of the moon bounce.

Beatrice was very excited to see the ponies but refused to ride one.

Beatrice love the petting zoo area. Especially the ducks.

Take me out to the ball park

Elliot and Daddy root for the Nationals before it gets too hot for baseball.
