Kindergarten!

I can't believe my baby is in kindergarten! Elliot had a great first day of school. He had a chance to visit the school and meet his teacher last week so I am sure that helped. The most exciting part of the day was catching the bus at the bus stop. I was very proud, but a little teary when he boarded the bus. He did great and had a great first day. He told me the teacher asked everyone how they felt about being at school. Elliot reported that he was the only person to say "not sure." I asked him what his answer would be if she asked again he said, "very happy."

Bus Stop Party

Since Elliot will be taking the bus to school, we got invited to a little gathering with the other kids at our bus stop to celebrate the start of the school year. Elliot was a little shy, but enjoyed the cake. It was a nice was to spend the last evening before the big day.
