We Moved then in Snowed, and Snowed and Snowed

Shortly after we moved into our rental home (where we are living until we find a new home) we got hit with our first winter snow storm. It seems like as soon as the snow from one storm was melted another storm rolled through. The kids missed a lot of school due to the snow and we had a lot of fun sledding, baking, building forts etc… although by the last couple of storms everyone was pretty over it.

We discovered that the Elementary school has a great sledding hill. 

We made ice marbles (water balloons + food coloring + freezing outside over night) 

We built snow creatures with friends

We explored the National Park Seminary grounds in the snow. 

We went to West Virginia to ski in the snow there. Bea went to ski school, but is not a fan yet. Elliot was skiing blue runs by the end of the week. The kid is a natural.
